Day 2: Ancient Agora, Roman Agora & Central Athens

One ticket covers both the open-air site and the museum inside the Stoa of Attalos. Arrive near opening to see the site before it gets busy; note the museum building can open later than the outdoor site on Tuesdays.

Hadrian's Library

Monastiraki Square and the surrounding flea-market streets are the natural lunch stop between the morning archaeological sites and the afternoon walk to the Olympieion.

Temple of Olympian Zeus & Hadrian's Arch

Day 3: National Archaeological Museum & Lycabettus Sunset

Greece's largest archaeological museum, holding finds from across the country including the Mycenaean gold collection. Note its opening hours vary by day of week (later Tuesday opening, earlier close on other weekdays outside the May-October season).

Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro)
