Pricing Analysis & Important Details
01. These 3 passes are priced in 2 different currencies
The Prague Visitor Pass is priced in Czech koruna (CZK/Kč), as are all individual attraction tickets in this comparison. Prague CoolPass and Go City Prague, however, are both genuinely priced and charged in euros (EUR) by their own providers — confirmed directly on both sites. Compare carefully rather than assuming a shared currency.
02. Only the Prague Visitor Pass includes public transport
Confirmed directly: the Prague Visitor Pass bundles unlimited metro, tram, bus, trolleybus, and ferry travel (including airport transfers). Neither Prague CoolPass nor Go City Prague includes unlimited transit — Go City includes a 24-hour Hop-On Hop-Off bus as one of its attraction picks, which is not the same as citywide public transport.
03. Go City Prague's cheaper tiers exclude Prague Castle and the Zoo
Confirmed directly on gocity.com: Prague Castle (the actual circuit ticket) and Prague Zoo are included ONLY on the pricier All-Inclusive tier (from €64), not on the cheaper Essentials (from €44) or Explorer (from €54) tiers. All 3 tiers include a guided "Prague Castle Highlights" tour and an "Old Town Tour incl. Astronomical Clock and Charles Bridge" — but these are guided walks past the sites, not tickets into Prague Castle's paid circuit or the Old Town Hall Tower itself.
04. A previously-listed "Prague Visitor Pass" purchase link was simply wrong
A domain once associated with this pass (a .cn address) does not resolve at all — confirmed via direct DNS lookup. The Prague Visitor Pass itself is genuinely official, run by Prague City Tourism, and its real, live storefront is praguevisitorpass.eu.
Which Option Fits Your Visit?
Using Public Transport Often
The Prague Visitor Pass is the only option here that bundles unlimited transit with attraction access — worth it if you're not staying within easy walking distance of Old Town.
Zoo + Castle + Jewish Quarter, No Transit Needed
Prague CoolPass covers all three at a single price with no per-attraction juggling, if you're happy walking or paying for transport separately.
A Few Big-Ticket Sights Over Several Days
Go City Prague's All-Inclusive tier unlocks unlimited visits to 31 attractions including the Castle and Zoo — its cheaper tiers skip both, so check which tier you actually need first.
Visiting Only 1-2 Paid Sites
Individual tickets win here — Prague Castle's grounds, Vyšehrad, and the Astronomical Clock show are already free, so a pass only pays off once you're visiting several ticketed attractions.
