Pricing Analysis & Important Details
01. Zurich has one official multi-attraction pass, not a Turbopass or Go City product
The Zürich Card (operated by Zürich Tourismus) is Zurich's only city pass of this kind. Turbopass's own published city list does not include Zurich or any Swiss destination, and no Go City product for Zurich was found either — this is confirmed, not a research gap.
02. "Free museum entry" has an important exception: Kunsthaus Zürich
The Zürich Card gives free admission to most participating museums, including the FIFA World Football Museum outright. But at Kunsthaus Zürich specifically, the free coverage is for the permanent collection only — a major or special exhibition costs an extra CHF 7.00 at the ticket desk, even with the card.
03. The FIFA World Football Museum confirms free Zürich Card entry directly on its own site
Unlike some secondary sources that mention only a discount, the museum's own official ticketing page explicitly lists the Zürich Card (alongside the Swiss Travel Pass and Swiss Museum Pass) as free entry, not a percentage-off deal.
04. Lindenhof and the Old Town (Altstadt) are completely free
No pass is needed for Zurich's best free viewpoint over the Limmat and the twin-towered churches — the same free-landmark pattern already documented for Chicago's Millennium Park.
Which Option Fits Your Visit?
You'll Use Public Transport A Lot
The Zürich Card's unlimited ZVV transport (including the Uetliberg trip) alone can justify the price if you're moving around the city and region over 1-3 days.
A Museum-Heavy Day
The FIFA World Football Museum is fully free with the card, and Kunsthaus Zürich's permanent collection is too — just budget separately if you also want a major exhibition.
Old Town Views on a Budget
Climb the Grossmünster's Karlsturm tower for free with the card, or skip it — Lindenhof next door offers a comparably free panoramic view with no ticket at all.
A Free Photo-Stop Day
Skip any pass — Lindenhof and the Old Town streets are free to visit at any time, card or not.

🗝️ Zurich's Secret Places
Three hidden spots — verified against Zürich Tourism's own listings.
Cloister (Grossmünster)
A 12th-century cloister tucked beside Zurich's most famous church — most of the crowds who photograph the Grossmünster's towers never know a quiet garden sits just steps away.
Rechberg (Park)
A beautifully preserved 1790 baroque garden wedged between the university and the Kunsthaus — invisible from the street, and a genuine insider tip even among many Zurich residents.
Giacometti Frescos ("Blüemlihalle")
Possibly the most beautiful police station entrance hall in the world, painted in 1923-1925 by Augusto Giacometti — free to visit, but only on a guided tour with no advance booking.
