Ca' Rezzonico Guide: Tickets, Hours & Pass Compatibility

Ca' Rezzonico is a grand canal-side palazzo now serving as the Museum of 18th-Century Venice, presenting furnished period rooms, frescoes, and paintings that recreate the lavish domestic and civic life of the Venetian Republic's final century.

Standard admission is EUR 15 adult / EUR 7.50 reduced, with no reservation required. Hours run 10:00-18:00 (last admission 17:00) from 1 April to 31 October, and 10:00-17:00 (last admission 16:00) from 1 November to 31 March. The museum is closed every Tuesday year-round.

Ca' Rezzonico is part of the Musei Civici di Venezia (MUVE) network, so it's included in the MUVE Museum Pass (EUR 50 adult / EUR 25 reduced, covering 12 venues) and in the thematic 'I Musei del Settecento Veneziano' combined ticket alongside Palazzo Mocenigo and Casa di Carlo Goldoni (EUR 20 adult / EUR 10 reduced) — a good option if you're specifically interested in 18th-century Venetian life across multiple sites.

On city passes: it's NOT included on the Venezia Unica San Marco City Pass tier, since that tier is scoped specifically to the four St Mark's Square museums plus Scuola Grande dei Carmini and the Querini Stampalia Foundation. It IS included on the Venezia Unica All-Venice City Pass tier, which covers the wider MUVE network. Construction began under architect Baldassarre Longhena in the mid-17th century for the Bon family, but funds ran out and the palazzo stood unfinished for decades until the Rezzonico family purchased it and hired Giorgio Massari to complete it in the 18th century, giving the building its name.

The museum's collection specializes in recreating 18th-century Venetian life through period furniture, Tiepolo ceiling frescoes, and paintings by artists like Pietro Longhi and Francesco Guardi, offering a vivid sense of the Republic's final, culturally rich century before the fall of the Republic in 1797.
