Weekly audit 2026-09-24: cited official URL returns HTTP 404 (or dead/empty page); replaced with the live same-domain page. Standard €18 / reduced €2 (EU 18-25) re-confirmed on the new page.

turbopass-citypass — catalogueSizeAdvertisedNote

Was
26 confirmed via live calculator (2026-09-10); '30+' marketing copy noted as an open, unreconciled discrepancy.
Now
Re-fetched turbopass.com/rome-city-pass on 2026-09-12 specifically to attempt reconciliation (per Limited P1 Restart task instruction). Confirmed no itemized public list exists anywhere on the page — only 'All-Inclusive Access to 30+ Attractions' / 'over 30 top attractions'. Discrepancy could not be reconciled to one number; both figures kept, with a plausible-but-unconfirmed explanation (marketing may round in minor perks like a gelato discount). The public pass-entity page therefore states the provider's own '30+' language plus our own independently-verified count (4), never the internal-only 26 figure as if it were a citable total.

Limited P1 Restart task instruction (item 26): attempt to reconcile the 26-vs-30+ catalogue discrepancy before publishing the Turbopass Rome pass entity page, and avoid categorical count language beyond defensible wording if unresolved.

colosseum — priceVariants

Was
4 variants: Standard combined (EUR 18), Full Experience Underground and Arena (EUR 24), Full Experience with educational tour (EUR 32), Forum Pass SUPER (EUR 18) — three further named tiers ('Only Arena', 'Full Experience Attico', 'Full Experience Passaggio di Commodo') were listed on colosseo.it without a shown price (KNOWN_ISSUES.md ISSUE-049) and not modeled.
Now
Added 3 new priceVariants confirmed via a direct live re-fetch of ticketing.colosseo.it's ticket-category listing: '24h Only Arena' (EUR 18.00), 'Full Experience with Arena Access' (EUR 24.00, distinct from the already-recorded Underground+Arena variant), 'Full Experience with Attico Access' (EUR 24.00). The 'Passaggio di Commodo' tier could not be found on the current live listing and remains unmodeled.

Rome content-enrichment mission (P0.1 factual consistency audit) — a parallel research agent deepening the Colosseum guide page noticed the live ticketing site now shows prices for tiers ISSUE-049 had flagged as unpriced; verified directly and added to close most of that gap.

omnia-card — catalogueStatus, catalogueSizeAdvertisedNote, catalogueSource(Url), catalogueVerifiedAt (new fields)

Was
none
Now
catalogueStatus: PARTIAL. Component breakdown newly confirmed via direct fetch of omniavaticanrome.org: bundles a full Roma Pass component plus Omnia-exclusive fixed inclusions (Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel [already modelled], Basilica and Cloister of St John Lateran with audio guide [not yet a registry attraction], Mamertine Prison with audio guide [not yet a registry attraction], multilingual walking-tour audio guides, 72h ATAC transport, hop-on-hop-off bus).

P1.5 registry-deepening task. Two Omnia-exclusive components (St John Lateran Cloister, Mamertine Prison) identified as candidates for future registry-attraction creation (registry entity only, per item 29 — not a public guide page) — logged in PASS_CATALOGUE_COVERAGE_2026-09.md rather than fabricated without price verification.

turbopass-citypass — price / priceMatrix

Was
Flat price EUR 161.90 labeled '3 Days' — did not correspond to any actual sold tier.
Now
Full confirmed live pricing matrix: 1 day EUR 109.90, 2 days EUR 129.90, 3 days EUR 139.90, 4 days EUR 159.90, 5 days EUR 169.90, 7 days EUR 179.90 (no 6-day tier is sold). Comparison table now shows 'From EUR 109.90' as the headline starting price instead of an arbitrary duration's price presented as if it were the base rate.

2026-09-10 Rome content-quality re-audit found this exact discrepancy while benchmarking against newer cities' handling of dynamic multi-day pricing (see CITY_AUDIT_PLAYBOOK.md's rule against presenting a single duration's price as a fixed universal figure). Cross-validated against an independent third-party review quoting the same six figures before writing to the registry.

Pass rule changed

romapass — relationship status

Was
Flat INCLUDED — implied every chosen attraction is free regardless of how many the visitor already used.
Now
CONDITIONAL (conditionType FREE_QUOTA_THEN_DISCOUNT) — Roma Pass grants a fixed free-admission quota (1 for the 48h pass, 2 for the 72h pass), visitor's choice, any order; further participating-site visits get a reduced rate that varies by venue (not a single flat percentage, so discountPercentAfterQuota is left unset and renders an honest 'confirm at booking' note).

The registry's own existing relationship notes already said 'counts as one of the first 2 free entries' for the Colosseum, which is inconsistent with a flat INCLUDED status — this content-quality re-audit resolved the inconsistency using the CONDITIONAL status introduced in the 2026-09-10 Naples audit for the same underlying pattern (Campania Artecard's free-choice-quota model).

romapass — catalogueStatus, catalogueSizeAdvertised, catalogueSource(Url), catalogueVerifiedAt (new fields)

Was
none — no catalogue-completeness fields existed on any pass record before P1.5
Now
catalogueStatus: DECISION_SUBSET; catalogueSizeAdvertised: 52 (approx, museums/archaeological sites specifically; page also states "100+" for the full network); quota model (freeAdmissionsIncluded already on file: 1/48h, 2/72h)

P1.5 registry-deepening task (ISSUE-062 follow-up): added the catalogue-completeness model so scenario/calculator readiness is derived from a real advertised-size fact instead of inferred from relationship count. DECISION_SUBSET marks this as a quota product whose network size is not the operative fact for scenario calculability.

turbopass-citypass — catalogueStatus, catalogueSizeAdvertised, catalogueSource(Url), catalogueVerifiedAt (new fields)

Was
none
Now
catalogueStatus: PARTIAL; catalogueSizeAdvertised: 26 (itemized, via live booking calculator, already on file since 2026-09-10); noted discrepancy with turbopass.com's own landing-page marketing copy re-fetched 2026-09-11, which states "over 30 top attractions" — kept as a logged discrepancy, not silently reconciled

P1.5 registry-deepening task. Confirms this pass is PARTIAL (5 of 26 items have any Rome registry attraction record at all), matching ISSUE-062's original finding.

romapass — price

Was
€53.00 (registry) vs. €62.90 (displayed on destinations/en/rome.json comparison table) — internal contradiction
Now
€62.90 (72h) / €38.00 (48h)

The registry's own canonical price (€53.00) silently disagreed with the price already shown on the live comparison table (€62.90), an internal consistency failure this audit is designed to catch. Verified directly on the official Roma Capitale tourism board page: current price is €62.90 for 72h. The registry, not the displayed table, was stale.

colosseum — faqs[0].answer (all 9 locales)

Was
"Yes, advance online reservation is strongly recommended to guarantee entry." (and Spanish equivalent)
Now
"Yes. Advance online reservation for a specific timed-entry slot is mandatory for all visitors; walk-up entry without a reservation is not guaranteed." (and translated equivalents)

The FAQ answer said reservation was merely 'strongly recommended' while the same page's Practical Info box (practicalInfo.entryRules, enforced in [slug].astro) said it was 'Mandatory... for all visitors' — a direct mandatory-vs-recommended contradiction on the same rendered page, present in all 9 locale copies (8 of which carried the identical English sentence verbatim). Corrected to match the registry's verified mandatory reservation requirement.

colosseum — itinerary tips (en, es)

Was
"A Rome City Pass covering the Colosseum will handle your timed reservation for you." (and Spanish equivalent)
Now
Reservation handling now stated per pass: Turbopass books the slot at checkout; Roma Pass and Omnia Card holders must book their own slot on ticketing.colosseo.it using the pass as the admission voucher.

This was the exact 'known historical problem' this audit was briefed to look for: a blanket claim that 'a pass' handles the mandatory reservation, when the registry's own relationship records show this is only true for Turbopass — Roma Pass and Omnia require the traveller to book their own slot. Generalizing across passes with different reservation handling is a factual overclaim.

General correction

castel-sant-angelo — existence (new registry entry)

Was
No registry entry existed, despite the attraction being referenced with specific claims ("Standard ticket required. Included in Omnia/Roma Pass.") in itineraries/en/rome.json and destinations/en/rome.json usecases text.
Now
Added to registry/attractions.json: €18.00 standard / €2.00 EU 18-25 reduced, Tue-Sun 09:00-19:30 (last admission 18:30), nominative timed ticket with ID check. Added relationships to Roma Pass, Turbopass Rome City Pass (both INCLUDED, Turbopass confirmed directly on its official product page), and Omnia Card (INCLUDED via bundled Roma Pass component).

Per the evidence-first principle, a live page should not make specific inclusion/price claims about an attraction with zero backing canonical record. This closes that gap for Castel Sant'Angelo. Note: no dedicated attraction guide page exists yet for Castel Sant'Angelo (only colosseum/pantheon/vatican-museums have attraction pages) — see KNOWN_ISSUES.md.

vatican-museums — reservationRequirement / officialSourceUrl

Was
"Advance online booking strongly recommended", sourced to the mobile microsite URL
Now
"Advance online 'Skip the Line' booking strongly recommended (not mandatory; door sales exist)", re-sourced to the official Prices and Tickets page

Re-verified directly against the official Vatican Museums pricing page during this audit (fresh fetch, not carried over from the prior session). Confirms €20 full price at the door, €20+€5 for online booking, and that the Vatican itself brands the online-booked ticket as a 'Skip the Line' product — this justifies the existing miniTable 'fastTrack: Yes (Pre-booked)' wording, which this audit initially flagged as a possible terminology risk but confirmed is accurate and officially-sanctioned phrasing.

Now
Advance booking recommended via official portal (museiitaliani.it)

Removed obsolete mandatory on weekends claim as tickets are sold on-site and online.

colosseum — reservationHandling

Was
Requires manual online reservation (€2 fee applies separately on official site).
Now
Requires mandatory online time-slot reservation on official ticketing site (ticketing.colosseo.it).

Ticketing migrated from CoopCulture to ticketing.colosseo.it. €2 was unverified / confused with EU 18-25 reduced ticket.

vatican-museums — reservationRequirement

Was
Mandatory online booking
Now
Advance online booking strongly recommended (+ €5 online booking fee)

Resolved internal contradiction. Box office ticket desk exists, but online booking is strongly recommended due to long queues.
