Weekly audit 2026-09-24: cited URL was the wrong product page (CONFIRMED_ERROR). The cited URL pointed at the Paris City Pass product, not the Flex Pass; corrected to the Flex Pass's own product page (HTTP 200). URL-only correction; price/validity not changed.

- Was
- Two generic, copy-pasted subtitle sentences shared verbatim across 6 itinerary pages (3 cities each) in en/es, with no city-specific content — rendered as each page's meta description, so 2 groups of pages had duplicate descriptions in the same locale.
- Now
- A genuinely unique, city-specific subtitle per city (mentioning that city's own transit mode and/or mandatory-reservation attraction), translated consistently across all 9 locales.
Phase 25 (indexation/SEO technical): auditing every sitemap URL's rendered title/H1/meta-description for uniqueness across EN/ES/DE found these as the only violations out of 678 pages checked — two 3-way duplicate meta descriptions, both traced to an itinerary subtitle that was never made city-specific when these cities' itineraries were authored. Fixed with new copy for each city; every underlying fact referenced (transit systems, mandatory-reservation attractions) was already established elsewhere on each city's own pages, nothing new was researched.
paris — existence (full rebuild from placeholder scaffold)
- Was
- Every Paris registry record (louvre, eiffel-tower, versailles, museumpass, turbopass-flex, turbopass-standard, gocity, and every relationship row) held literal "NEEDS_VERIFICATION"/"UNKNOWN" placeholder values. The hand-authored attraction JSON files (all 9 locales) contained identical templated filler copy-pasted across all three attractions (e.g. every one showed the same fake "18,00 € - 25,00 €" price range, the same "09:00 - 19:00" hours, the same unsourced "45 - 90 mins" avgWaitTime, and passFactor fields referencing "romapass"/"omnia" — Rome pass names that don't exist for Paris, left over from a shared template).
- Now
- Rebuilt from scratch with directly-verified official facts: Louvre (€22 EEA/€32 non-EEA, louvre.fr), Eiffel Tower (€14.80-€36.70 by level, toureiffel.paris — confirmed NOT part of any museum pass), Versailles Passport (€22-€35 by season, en.chateauversailles.fr, with Palace-vs-Trianon/Gardens reservation split modeled explicitly), Sainte-Chapelle (€22, sainte-chapelle.fr — new registry entity, previously absent entirely), Paris Museum Pass (€85/€105/€125 for 2/4/6 days, parismuseumpass.fr, with its official per-site reservation list), Turbopass Paris City Pass + Flex Pass (turbopass.com — replacing invented "Standard"/"Flexible" product names and prices with the real current products), and Go City Paris All-Inclusive Pass Plus + Explorer Pass (gocity.com — replacing a generic "guided climb" claim with the actual mechanism: a bundled genuine Paris Museum Pass plus a separate Eiffel Tower 2nd-floor guided-climb component). Full pass x attraction relationship matrix built with reservationBookedBy and component-level notes (e.g. Turbopass's Eiffel Tower/Louvre/Versailles inclusions are specific restricted-slot/guided products, not flexible official tickets).
Paris had never been audited — every fact was an unverified placeholder or literal template filler shared (incorrectly) with Rome's data. This is the first evidence-first pass for this city, per CITY_AUDIT_PLAYBOOK.md.
