Overview & History

The Distillery District is a 13-acre, pedestrian-only National Historic Site in eastern downtown Toronto, built around the former Gooderham & Worts distillery — once the largest distillery in the world. Its cobblestone streets and more than 40 restored Victorian industrial buildings are car-free and free to enter, now home to boutiques, galleries, cafes, and restaurants.
