Descend into the Old Town to tour the former seat of the Republic of Ragusa's Rector, now the Cultural History Museum.

Tickets: Walk-up entry, no timed slots; included on the Dubrovnik Pass or the combined 10-museum ticket.

Travel: ~8 min walk from the City Walls exit at St John's Fortress

Afternoon (14:00 - 15:00)

Franciscan Monastery, Stradun 2, Dubrovnik, Croatia

Finish the afternoon at the western end of Stradun, seeing the Romanesque cloister and the Old Pharmacy, in continuous operation since 1317.

Tickets: Walk-up entry; included on the Dubrovnik Pass. The church nave itself is free without a ticket.

Duration: ~30 - 45 min

Travel: ~5 min walk down Stradun from the Rector's Palace

Day 2: Fort Lovrijenac & Mount Srđ

Climb the freestanding sea fortress just outside Pile Gate — the 'Gibraltar of Dubrovnik' — for a view back at the western walls.

Tickets: Included with any City Walls ticket or Dubrovnik Pass — no separate charge if you kept yesterday's walls ticket stub or hold a multi-day pass.

Duration: ~45 min

Afternoon into evening (16:30 - 19:00)

Dubrovnik Cable Car, Kralja Petra Krešimira IV, Dubrovnik, Croatia

Ride the cable car up Mount Srđ for the widest view over the Old Town and the Elafiti Islands, and visit the Homeland War Museum at Fort Imperial on the summit.

Tickets: Not included on the Dubrovnik Pass — buy directly at the lower station. Time the visit for sunset, but check the last-descent time first.

Duration: ~1 - 1.5 h

Travel: ~20 min walk or short taxi from Fort Lovrijenac to the lower cable car station

• The cable car is confirmed excluded from every Dubrovnik Pass tier — budget for it separately regardless of which pass you're carrying.
• Check the cable car's operating status before going — it suspends in high wind or lightning, and closes entirely from December to March.

Day 3: Lokrum Island & the Old Port

Catch one of the frequent short ferries from the Old Port, just inside the eastern city walls, out to Lokrum Island.

Tickets: Ferry-and-reserve ticket sold at the port kiosk; a 20-30% partner discount applies with the 3-day or 7-day Dubrovnik Pass, but the ferry itself is never a fixed pass inclusion.

Duration: ~15 min crossing

Late morning to afternoon (09:45 - 15:30)

Lokrum Island, Dubrovnik, Croatia

Spend the day in the island's botanical garden, the ruined Benedictine monastery, and the saltwater lake known as the Dead Sea, before returning by ferry in the afternoon.

Tickets: Nature reserve entry fee included in the ferry-and-reserve ticket; no overnight stays are permitted on the island.
