• The Old Town Hall's museum ticket and St. Martin's Cathedral's Treasury/crypt/gallery ticket are both confirmed free with the Bratislava CARD, one-time entry each.
• St. Martin's Cathedral's nave itself needs no ticket or pass at any time — only the Treasury/crypt/gallery combination is paid.
• Main Square and the surrounding Old Town lanes are free to wander and best covered on foot between these two stops.

Day 2: Castle Hill & the UFO Bridge

Climb up to the four-towered castle overlooking the Danube, explore the free grounds and ramparts, then visit the SNM Museum of History inside.

Tickets: Grounds are free, 08:00-22:00 daily; the Museum of History is €14 adult, no reservation needed, confirmed free with the Bratislava CARD (one-time entry, excludes the Marie Antoinette exhibition).

Duration: ~1.5 - 2.5 h

Afternoon (14:00 - 15:00)

UFO Observation Deck, Most SNP, 851 01 Bratislava, Slovakia

Walk down from the castle and across Most SNP bridge, then take the elevator up to the saucer-shaped observation deck for 360-degree views over the Old Town and the Danube.

Tickets: €12.50 adult ticket (€11.50 on weekday mornings), bought only on-site, no advance booking; the Bratislava CARD gives 20% off (not free entry).

Duration: ~30 - 45 min

Travel: ~20 - 25 min walk from the castle, across Most SNP bridge

• The castle's Museum of History is confirmed free with the Bratislava CARD, but the UFO Observation Deck is only discounted 20% by the same card — budget separately for it.
• Visit the castle in the morning and the UFO deck in the afternoon for better light looking back toward the castle from the observation deck.
• Ordering a main course at the UFO's on-site restaurant gives free access to the deck, independent of buying a ticket.

Day 3: Devín Castle

Take the city's route 29 bus from under the Most SNP bridge out to Devín, Bratislava's own riverside borough, to explore the ruined Great Moravian-era fortress at the confluence of the Danube and Morava rivers.

Tickets: €8 adult ticket in summer (Apr-Oct) / €6 in winter (Nov-Mar), no reservation needed; confirmed free with the Bratislava CARD (one-time entry, except on three 2026 event dates: June 6, August 1, September 5).

Duration: ~1.5 - 2.5 h including the ride there and back

Travel: ~20 - 25 min by city bus (route 29) from Most SNP

• Devín is a borough of Bratislava itself, not a separate town — it's reached on the ordinary city bus network, not a special excursion service.
• The Bratislava CARD's "with transport" version covers the route 29 bus ride as well as free castle entry; the "without transport" version covers only the castle.
• The Upper Castle's permanent exhibition only runs April-October — outside those months you'll see the grounds and ruins but not the indoor exhibition.
