Day 2: Mount Fløyen & the Fortress

Ride the funicular up Mount Fløyen for panoramic views over Bergen and the surrounding fjords, then walk one of the marked summit trails before riding back down.

Afternoon (13:30 - 15:00)

Bergenhus Fortress, Bergenhus 4, Bergen, Norway

Walk the free fortress grounds around Håkon's Hall and the Rosenkrantz Tower on the harbor's edge; entering the interior museum spaces themselves carries a separate ticket, checked on-site.

Tickets: The fortress grounds are free and open daily 06:00-23:00; interior museum admission (Håkon's Hall / Rosenkrantz Tower) is ticketed separately on-site.
