A memorial exhibition in the crypt on the 1943 firebombing of Hamburg ("Operation Gomorrah"), plus a barrier-free glass panorama lift to a 76-metre-high observation platform inside the surviving 147-metre Gothic Revival spire. The rest of the church was destroyed in WWII and has been deliberately preserved as a ruin memorial rather than rebuilt.
