Not mandatory, but buying a timed online ticket in advance (via the official Webtickets-powered shop) is strongly recommended and cheaper than the ticket office. The Cableway operates weather-permitting and can close at short notice (wind/cloud) regardless of ticket type; tickets are valid for 7 days and refundable/rebookable if a visit is missed to weather.
